Owner?

[edit]

For purposes of determining media bias, is Sinclair publically held or is it a subsidiary of some other corporation? Given its behavior, I would assume its controller to be a conservative/Republican dominated organization or corporation. Isn't the point of a resource like wikipedia to bring out the facts that are being hidden? If someone knows who owns Sinclair, please add it to the article. -Kasreyn

Sinclair is publicly trade under SBGI on Nasdaq.

Though Sinclair became a public company in 1995 and is currently traded on NASDAQ under the symbol SBGI, the Smith family still retains a majority financial interest, and all four Smith brothers serve as executives or directors. - Nick Davis

delisting? no

[edit]

i deleted the statement they were close to the delsiting price, they were no where near delisting. http://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=SBGI&a=5&b=7&c=1995&d=3&e=7&f=2006&g=d&z=66&y=330 I was heavily watching and investigating the sinclair events closely as events transpired, and added in some background on why the stock fell. much more than I am said.

It is amazing that your organization can find and hire so many new and young persons for on air news programs. However, in my opinion you must look long and hard to find those that have a hard time with words that many find as everyday language. Examples of the mispronunciation include the names of countries and the names of World leaders. I was an instructor for many years in the Air Force and with TDCJ and no matter how many times I presented my classes that were scheduled for the day I reviewed my Lesson Plans. Maybe your new hires should have to review with someone like Will Jenson prior to being a live on air presenter. Thank You. Also, give us back Austin Burke. 145.224.31.33 (talk) 22:10, 22 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
